Great views day and night

Great place with an amazing view of Massif Blanca. Very quiet, great sunsets. The internet was very good. We loved the remote location and enjoyed visiting the Sand Dunes National Park, the hot springs and other places. Theresa and Amy are great hosts, checking in to make sure everything was good.

Amy was so kind and welcomed our group at the Airbnb. Really cool private retreat!

What an exceptional visit and what an exceptional location and space. We absolutely enjoyed it and would recommend this to anyone looking for serenity and a change of pace.

This little house is great! Comfortable, clean, and in a great location. The stars were amazing and it feels like you are far removed from other people. Just what we were looking for. Amy was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

This is THE place to stop! The pictures just don't do it justice. It perfectly accommodated all 10 of my family members, comfortably, and the sunrise took our breath away. We left this place with memories we wont forget and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you to our host who made us feel right at home! See you next time!

We would like to thank Theresa and Amy for an amazing stay! Definitely better than our expectations. This house was prefect! We took a family trip with 3 kids and grandparents, and we all fit comfortably in the space. The house felt like home after being there a week. Plenty to do around the area, sand dunes, hiking, Zapata Falls, San Luis chapel, and so much more! Our host was the BEST! Anything we needed she would contact us right away and always knowing and giving clear instructions when needed. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t regret it!

This place is absolutely fantastic! While the road leading to the cottage is a bit rough, it’s easy to navigate with Google Maps. We were greeted with the warmest welcome by Amy on a freezing night—she had turned on all the lights and heaters and was waiting for us in the cozy cottage. She thought of everything, even providing gloves and coats. Spending a night here is truly worth it!

private, peaceful, relaxing, clean, and the farm fresh eggs was an awesome over the top feature to the stay, not to mention Amy showing you around the place at check in.

Great place to stay to go do Blanca hikes. Peaceful, off the grid type place. Has all of the modern amenities and great wifi surprisingly for location. Place was spotless and everything works as expected.

We rented this house since it was near the Great Sand Dunes National park and it had the sleeping accommodations for a large group such as we had with my daughter and son and their families. The house was immaculate and on a large tract of land so it was quiet. There were two bedrooms and a loft with three mattresses so there were many beds to accommodate a large group. However, there is only one bathroom so that needs to be considered if you have a lot of people at the house like we did. The one irritating thing about this rental was that two days before we arrived the owner sent my a rental lease document. I ignored this document since it was not a legal requirement since it had never been presented to me prior to paying for this rental. And I had secured the rental and paid for it six months before we arrived. And then she sends this to me two days before we are scheduled to arrive?

So amazingly relaxing and quiet. The perfect location to visit the sand dunes and Zapate Falls. We were so sad to leave the views and peace and quiet!

Teresa and Amy were both very nice and accommodating. Amy welcomed us when we arrived and she was very sweet. The house was cute, had lots of places to sleep and a great view. Farm fresh eggs were delicious. We had a really nice time. Thank you!

The stay at their home was wonderful for our family of 7. Amy was so sweet when she met us there to tell us about the house. The view was absolutely amazing! From the sunset over the mountains to the stars that you can see at night! The outside furniture was super comfortable and the gas firepit was nice on the chilly night! The house was fully stocked, and absolutely adorably decorated! Would definitely stay here again if we're in the area!

Very nice place to stay near the Grand Sand Dunes National Park. About 10 min drive on a dirt road to get to Blanca but the location is amazingly quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended!

I have property not far from this house and am up there every month. This is by far the best place anywhere around. Grand views and excellent people to work with. Clean house. I love it!

We were so excited to stay in this area for several reasons. We never expected to meet such great people! We met Amy first, she met us there (with fresh eggs) and showed us everything. We had such a fabulous stay and on our last day we got to meet Theresa. I can’t say enough about these wonderful women! The place was absolutely fabulous, had everything you needed for a beautiful stay by Mt. Blanca. The sunsets are the most amazing part. If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet, secluded area please don’t look any further than this beautiful, clean cottage.

This off the beaten path home was exactly what our family was looking for. An easy drive to Great Sand Dunes NP and numerous hikes in the area.

One of our top Airbnb experiences! The house had everything we needed and more. There were 5 of us staying and 3 dogs and we all slept comfortably. Drinking my coffee in morning while staring at Mount Blanca…WOW!
